From 28 September to 2 October 2023, Via Merulana n. 248, the first edition of the Antiques Exhibition "Art and Collecting in Rome".
After about twenty years, the Associazione Antiquari d'Italia is back to organizing an exhibition event strongly desired and supported by its members, to fill, in the capital and in the central southern area of the country, a void in the context of the Ancient Art Fairs by proposing an exhibition offer, representing the Italian art market of a high quality level, on a par with those existing in the major European capitals.
The exhibition is reserved for AAI members only and will be hosted in Palazzo Brancaccio.
"Art and Collecting in Rome" was created with the intention of offering recognition to those who carry out the activity of art dealer, respecting conditions and disciplines that are not always reasonable, a reward for professionalism and an opportunity to return to proposing oneself in a antiques exhibition that will develop in the beating heart of the Italian tradition.
A rich program of worldly inaugural events and cultural appointments will welcome the guests, starting from the exclusive gala dinner, around 300 guests, including collectors, museum directors and other personalities in the evocative garden of the Palazzo which will be followed by the preview, by invitation, reserved for guests of the previous evening and numerous operators from the world of culture and international entrepreneurship.
