BIAF 33nd Florence Biennale 28 September - 6 October 2024
The oldest market exhibition in the world as well as an absolute reference for great Italian art will host a careful selection of ancient and modern art dealers from all over the world, who with their precious works, brought together in what is recognized by all as the “most beautiful venue for an art fair”, will offer a broad overview of the Italian artistic tradition in the world.
The 33rd edition means more than 60 years of activity, an important milestone which includes celebrations in the city, also starting from greater involvement of economic and cultural realities, to once again confirm Florence as the centre of the international art market.
The BIAF will take place in the precious baroque rooms of Palazzo Corsini sull'Arno, where the best international antiquarian tradition will be represented but with ever greater attention to modern and contemporary art.
The works, paintings, sculptures, drawings, furniture, art objects and ancient books, all rigorously created by Italian masters or foreign artists who have worked in Italy, will be subjected to careful analysis by the Vetting Committee, an authoritative group of experts and appreciated internationally to guarantee collectors and institutions the maximum possible safety.
